I was going about my internet junkie day, as usual trying to find something new to do; I passed through page after page of boring new sites when I came across something cool. Gaminix.com(Action Games). Apparently Gaminix is a new flash arcade site where gamers can get together and play cool arcade games, some old time favorites, some new and some just downright fun to play. They’ve got a cool member system in place also that keeps track of all your stats and proudly displays you atop the gaming mountain if you are the op gamers. And if you are not the top gamer then you get to sit under him or her as there is a top 7 players list on thee main page! They’ve also got a collection of funny videos from around the net, some painful as hell and some just down right funny.

The site looked really cool with a mix of all kinds of blue tactfully woven throughout the site. Though, you can see that it is new and needs a little more work, but something as trivial as this usually changes as soon as a website figures out what their members and visitors want to see and what they want the site to look like. But one thing they did do, which is the main point of an arcade site is they did NOT skimp on the games! There are a TON of games as this gaming site is HUGE, last I counted there were 721 games and 50 funny videos, plus they update it daily with something new, be it new games every day or a new funny video.

One of the many cool features of this site is as a member you will be able to choose your experience. For example, if you do not like particular game simply send a note to the admin via your member’s panel note creation. Explain why you hate the game so much (something short) and you can even message other users and ask them to complain, enough complaints, usually around 7 or more then the game will be immediately removed and replaced with something cool! Also, if a game is broken then simply click “Broken Game” or “Report Broken Game” and the game is checked by Admins and Mods to be removed. From what I’ve seen they’re headed in the right direction in trying to please members. As a member you are even eligible for cool prizes like Xbox 360 Controllers, eBooks, Xbox 360 Games and much more. There is a new prize each month for the top gamer! Right now since they just started the First member to 500 Gaminix Gamer Points(GGP) gets a Brand new FREE XBOX 360 Controller So HURRY before this site gets really popular and Prize Rules Change Quickest way to get points is;

Let me tall you Super Mario world 2 is an absolute blast; it takes you back to the old days of Nintendo, back in the NES days! Gangster Mario is no Joke as this rendition has Mario fed up with those stupid turtles and side scrolling mushrooms, so like all instances in life these issues can be solved with a shotgun, or what ever gun he has at his disposal. Mario has officially been pimped. Beat the Spartans will make you break your monitor and kick the Keys off your keyboard after you get down to the last 8 scantily clad Spartan and they end up dominating you, then you are treated to the frustratingly quoi voice of the fat guy from Borat as he coyly says to you “You just got served” I mean you just have to give that game a go in order to see what I mean it is so ADDICTIVE. If the purpose of that game was to make you so MAD that you want to break things then – Mission Accomplished. They’ve also go a barely legal copyright infringement passing clone of Samurai Jack..lol, there is so much blood and guts in hat game you’d probably want to keep your kids away from this one, or risk being blamed for mentally scarring your kids, as if “yo gabba gabba” or anything on TLC and Noggin hasn’t already done that job for you.

Now granted not all things about Gaminix is great, nothing is ever perfect, their member system is there complete with a lite-social networking environment (friends list, messages, recent activity, top players, points system, competition system) but it is not fully realized as it should be, but maybe that’s just the Facebook and MySpace in me that’s just being a complainer after all this is a Free Flash Arcade website, packed full of cool and fun games.
