History Of The “monetary Randomizers”
Randomizer scripts have been around for quite a while. Although when the internet was very young back in 1994 the scripts were mostly used by “computer geeks” for program development. As time moved on and consumers gained internet access these randomizers became more integrated towards what the public could do with them. The general public was interested in using randomizers for images, banners, website content such as “Quote of the Day”, etc.
Researching the actual history of the “monetary randomizers” using normal search techniques has not yielded much information. From what I found, my best guess is that the original “StormPay” randomizers were first introduced around late 1997 or early 1998. This was when the film “You’ve got mail” was released. AOL was in its growth years and the old “dial tone” connection was prevalent.
There are still some scripts advertised dating back as far as 2002, but they have most likely been updated by now. Anyone interested in actually running a “monetary randomizer” would most likely want the latest version he or she could find.
Nowadays some of the payment systems are obsolete or will not do business with “monetary randomizers” sighting the dubious nature of the programs. They have been compared to pyramid schemes, mlm scams, etc. The program differs very slightly in that they usually include downloadable software and other such digital products or services to avoid the common misconception of being illegal.
To be quite honest I have found “monetary randomizers” that are very inexpensive and yet the membership privilege of downloading massive amounts of software and e-books seemed in my mind at least as a very good deal. And as a member it was quite possible that I would make a little money eventually.
For those of you who do not understand exactly what a “monetary randomizer is I have included this brief description. An Alertpay Randomizer is operated by the website’s administration. They can set the cost of the program. Most current randomizers cost between $5 and about $20. There is also an administrative fee which offsets the expenses of the owner. When new members join, payments are distributed automatically to all members in random order, and everyone who joins pays the administrative fee. Members can also purchase extra rotations. The owner can charge whatever he or she may want for the additional “rotations”. These extra “rotations” basically help your actual affiliate link to be displayed more often than other members who do not purchase the additional rotations. The owner normally promotes the site in many different ways. Most of the members will do a little promotion of there affiliate link as well. Members can run it on safelists, classified sites, blogs, forums, social networking sites and wherever else they deem productive. An affiliate program is built right in to the script. Many owners even promote it with guaranteed traffic to assure the members of consistent exposure of the program to prospective members.
In my personal experience with randomizers I have found some to be a total waste of money. Even after extensive promotion of my affiliate link(s) I never received any payments. Luckily I have joined one that I do receive payments from every month. Not a lot of money, but it is always a nice surprise to get those emails from Alertpay informing me that my account has been credited!
The last “monetary randomizer” I joined really got me motivated to actually start my own. What happened was the owner just simply never responded to any emails I sent and apparently does not update the site or advertise it anywhere. I do not recall exactly how I stumbled upon it, but I do remember why I joined. The owner had a great idea or benefit that the members could use. Unfortunately for him and anyone who joined the idea just didn’t get promoted properly. Seems to me he just never really gave the idea much of a jumpstart to see if it would actually work. That is how my “Grand Randomizer” was born. I am not a quitter and believe the idea will fly. It won’t be easy of course but then again Rome wasn’t built in a day!
Let me tell you about some of the successful “monetary randomizers”. They are all AlertPay randomizers. You must have an account set up with AlertPay. Secondly many of the successful ones have been around for years! And they are still heavily promoted! They must be doing something right! You can research them on review type websites and draw a blank. The members are satisfied! No complaints! I am modeling my new “Grand Randomizer” in their likeness with plans to develop benefits and features above and beyond what they are offering to their members. Hopefully the membership of “The Grand Randomizer” will get excited and help me to build this randomizer into one of the best ever.
One thing I overlooked when first setting the new “Grand Randomizer” up was the past history of the domain I chose. Apparently back in 2007 the domain was operated by someone else and I have no idea who it was, if they ran a good site or if they simply never even launched one. Many people buy domains and then never even launch a website. I am hoping that the past history of the domain was good. I would not want any previous unhappy people sending nasty emails to my administrative email address. If any of you are out there, “it wasn’t me”!
If you are interested in learning more about the successful randomizers, I recommend that you visit my website. I have a links page where I am featuring the banners from these sites. It would be great if you decide to join mine of course, but even if you don’t I hope you join one of the better ones and stay away from the bad ones. Maybe once you make some money you might want to join another, like mine! You can view all the future plans for the site, promotional material, and even review the software and e-book collection before joining. Plus you might want to send an email, just to make sure someone is there providing support. I will be looking forward to your emails!
Why am I doing this? That is a very good question. My reasons are varied but all of them make sense to me. First of all if this site becomes successful I will make a little bit of money and get the great sense of satisfaction that comes with it. Secondly I want to run this site so that people might have an opportunity to make a little money on the side as well. Third of all, I want to administer the site the way it should be done. I want to introduce new ideas and have the membership contribute their ideas as well thereby making it better for everyone. And finally I enjoy creating and developing websites and corresponding with people online. I am learning some of the technical aspects at my own pace and basically having some fun doing it!
